The Wakefield walking club was formed over 30 years ago and now has nearly 300 members. The group welcomes new members to come along and join our walks. Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required for all but the local evening walks . If you are not a member and would like to join any of our walks, ring the appropriate group co-ordinator (number on walks page) to confirm the walk starting point, and possibly arrange transport. We regret that dogs are only allowed on our 5 mile walks.
In case of bad weather, check with the walk leader that the walk will take place.
There is an annual membership subscription of £3.
